Their work is always professional, neat, and done with great attention to detail. The customer service is excellent, and I’m always satisfied with the results. Only the upper 6 inches of the windshield may be tinted.
The windshield strip must use transparent material.
Full dark windshield tint is not permitted under Alabama law.
Proper installation helps avoid citations and visibility concerns.
Ask our team about compliant windshield tint options.

SUV, Truck & Van Tint Laws

Alabama has different provisions for multipurpose vehicles, including SUVs, trucks, vans, and recreational vehicles. These vehicles may qualify for darker rear window tinting under certain conditions.

Front seat windows follow the same rules as passenger cars.
Darker tint may be permitted on windows behind the driver.
Vehicle classification is determined by the manufacturer.
Dual outside mirrors are required when darker rear tint is installed.
Our experts can help determine what is legal for your specific vehicle.

Medical Tint Exemptions

Alabama offers medical exemptions for qualifying individuals who require additional protection from sunlight due to certain health conditions.

Medical exemptions require physician certification.
Applications are reviewed through the state process.
Exemptions may allow darker tint than standard limits.
Conditions and limitations may apply.
Contact state authorities for current exemption requirements.
